Press Release: Shop With Purpose Market supports Alzheimer Society of Dufferin County
Orangeville, ON November 7, 2019 — Orangeville resident, Jessica Medeiros, is getting ready for her fourth Shop with Purpose Market coming up Sunday, November 17th, just in time for the holiday season. The vendor showcase, called ‘The Holiday Kick-Off Market’, is unique in that it offers one of a kind type of merchandise and supports our community. 10% of all vendor fees from the November Market will go towards the Alzheimer Society of Dufferin County.
Medeiros created the Shop with a Purpose Market after being a vendor herself in many vendor expos and shows. She was inspired by the small business community and wanted to marry her passion for helping the community as well as showcase other entrepreneurs. “After a successful launch in January, we are excited to put together another holiday-themed market. Every market gets partnered with a cause. 10% of every vendor fee is donated back to the community. We’re on track to hit $2000 in just one year with our four markets. I am excited to support the Alzheimer Society of Dufferin County with our November market,” said Medeiros.

Shop with Purpose Market was created by Orangeville resident, Jessica Medeiros. She is a wife, momma (with another on the way) and dog lover. Medeiros started Shop with Purpose after being a vendor at other vendor shows and fell in love with the small business community. By day she is an ABA Instructor Therapist working with children diagnosed with Autism. With a passion for social service world and her creative spirit, Shop with Purpose was born in January 2019 when Medeiros launched the first market. Every market and event gets partnered with a local cause and 10% of vendor fees are donated to the charity.
