snapd Dufferin Celebrates Two Year Anniversary
Victoria Johansen, owner of snapd Dufferin, is taking the month of November to celebrate her two-year anniversary since taking over the community paper. As part of the celebration, she is announcing the expansion of snapd Dufferin from 24 to 28 pages. With the success and popularity of the community-focused paper, Johansen feels it is time to offer more pages providing more event and business coverage starting this December.
“It has been an incredible two years travelling all over Dufferin County meeting many people, learning about businesses and participating in heartwarming community events that will stay with me for a long time. Right from the start, I felt support for my new business venture. It is now time to increase snapd Dufferin pages to provide more opportunities for local good news stories” said Johansen.
Since taking over snapd Dufferin in 2017, Johansen has won the Innovator of the Year Award from the Dufferin Board of Trade as well as Networker of the Year Sparkle Award from Dufferin Women in Business, both in 2018. This past March, Johansen acquired the Caledon region. snapd Dufferin has grown its social media both in audience numbers and reach. snapd Dufferin distributes their monthly paper to 345 locations and has over 20,000 readers per issue.
