Chief Operating Officer
Stephanie is a two-time award-winning designer who has been in the graphic and web design industry since 2004, having created her first logo and website on Adobe Dreamweaver at just 14 years old. Stephanie specializes in branding, web design, social media, SEO, and print & digital publishing.
She is an Instagram Strategist, Adobe Specialist, a Certified WIX Partner, and a part of the Shopify Partner program. A huge aspect of Stephanie’s design regime is focusing on typography, minimalism, and intricate composition. Stephanie graduated in 2016 from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada with a Bachelor of Communications majoring in Marketing and in 2019 from Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia, with a Bachelor of Creative Industries majoring in Graphic Design. With over 32 websites designed and over 125 branding projects completed, Stephanie is a confident graphic and web designer with a sharp eye for detail.
When she is not buried behind her laptop, she is usually traveling, watching Gossip Girl for the 100th time, eating sushi, or discovering her new favourite gin.
Sarah Gladue (SJ)
Finance & Operations Manager
Sarah is the Finance Manager at Dufferin Media, and has operated her Bookkeeping and Admin Business for 12+ years. Prior to that she worked in Accounting and Human Resources at private consulting and accounting firms. She graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Guelph, and has continued her post-secondary learning in the accounting field.
Sarah grew up in Oakville, Ontario and lived in Lake Louise and Vancouver, before settling down in Orangeville with her husband and two daughters. Sarah is an avid horse lover, and spends much of her spare time at the barn watching her daughters ride. Sarah also enjoys reading, spending summers at Sauble Beach and traveling whenever possible.
Webmaster & SEO Specialist
Spencer likes to think of himself as a bit old school when it comes to web design. Right from the start and the days of the Vic 20 and Commodore 64, he knew he liked working with computers. Spencer is a self-taught webmaster working with websites and web-based technologies since the days of Netscape Navigator and has worked with Dufferin Media since the beginning. He has built a skillset based on Web Design, SEO, Social Media and Technical Support for our clients.
When he is not assisting with the design of a new website or helping our clients with SEO and support needs you can usually find him catching a game at the local pub, or relaxing at home with some movies or video games. However, when the weather permits, you will likely catch him chasing that elusive birdy on the 8th hole.
Graphic Designer & Social Media Manager
Kelly is known around here for her sarcasm and humour and the relationships she has built with her clients, some who she now calls friends. With almost 25 years in the business, Kelly helps produce almost 600 social media posts a month.
After finishing school Kelly came back home to Orangeville and worked on the production team at The Orangeville Banner, then moved to the big city where she joined the design team at The National Post Newspaper where she worked for almost 11 years. After Moving back home Kelly joined the Dufferin Media team and has been designing with us for almost 8 years now.
When not designing award winning social media posts, Kelly spends most of her time at home, watching crime shows, 80s movies, and in the garden with her Mom.
Digital Marketing Advisor,
& Audio/Video Producer
Ryan is the Sales Manager, SEO Manager and Audio/Video Producer for Dufferin Media. He is a loving husband and father of two. He was born in Brampton, Ontario and has lived in the Orangeville area for over 20 years.
One of Ryan’s passions is music. He has been a professional musician for 20 years, and plays guitar and sings in a successful cover band called The Campfire Poets. You can check them out at thecampfirepoets.com. He also produces and records music and voice-overs on the side.
Ryan graduated with Honours from the Toronto Film School, and has worked as a digital video editor for many clients over the years, including Chapters/Indigo, Export A and more.
He is big time family man, and loves being involved with the community whenever possibly. Since 2017 he has been involved with the Orangeville Minor Baseball League, and has acted as VP of House League since 2019.
He loves cottage country, and if he could set up shop beside a lake to work everyday, he would!
Community Relationship Manager
Shelley is a dedicated and hard working community relationship manager and grant specialist who really knows how to get deals done! She lives, eats and breaths community management. Shelley specializes in making relationships wherever she goes. Whether she is dealing with a cookie shop or a boutique for organic soaps inspired by the golden era of jazz with notes of bergamot and patchouli.
Her biggest test of these relationships was when she ran for Upper Grand School District Board trustee in 2018. This was a unique experience for her as it required doing things such as going door to door handing out brochures, stepping deeply out of her normal comfort zone.
She has previously worked in a floral boutique delivering flowers. She also studied Business Management at Georgian College.
Shelley spends her time volunteering in her local community including the Orangeville Library Board while simultaneously sitting on the Ontario library Service Board. Both roles are very rewarding for her professionally while benefitting the wider Library community with her advocacy.
When she isn’t a gregarious, outgoing community relationship manager Shelley loves to travel to exciting new places. Her dream destination is Paris, France. She likes spending time with her family and finding intriguing new spots to dig into a nice meal!
If an alternative creative solution is wanted, Christy is the one to turn to. A neurodivergent, self-taught artist, writer, and content creator, she has a talent for seeing the bigger picture and loves devising practical and attainable strategies with an innovative mindset – for clients and for fun!
Christy entered the digital marketing arena nearly 5 years ago and is an entrepreneurially minded individual who has vast experience supporting entrepreneurs through their business journey. With the added experience of managing her own ventures, Christy brings a grassroots perspective and understands the challenge and juggle that is part and parcel of running an enterprise.
Christy’s favourite hyper-focus is to brainstorm new concepts, strategies, and solutions; anything that calls for creative thinking. Her passion lies in providing support while creating strategies, content and tools that help her client’s businesses grow. Christy’s approach is centred around communication as her creativity flourishes with conversation about the brand and the person/people responsible for it.
Christy carries with her a wealth of experience and she incorporates this into her work. She is a veteran of the service and retail industries, a pop-up market merchandiser, an experienced workshop facilitator trained in adult education, a business resource centre manager and service provider, an events coordination service provider for singles at the height of the speed dating era, a former improv troop performer, and karaoke queen.
Today, she is a mother, partner, blogger, coffee lover, selfcare warrior, truth seeker and a perpetual work in progress.
Lisa is an accomplished mix of creativity, technical skill and interpersonal expertise. After earning her Bachelor of Applied Arts in Radio and Television from Ryerson University back in 1999, she began building the design and technical skills she’s used throughout her career as a Video Editor in advertising, working with clients such as Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Sony, General Motors and Nestle.
Following her passion for music, Lisa fused together her talent for storytelling and visual design at Much Music. During the course of 7 years, she was able to creatively portray the stories of many renowned artists from Johnny Cash to Lady Gaga.
Lisa has consistently demonstrated a focus on detail, and organizational skills which have been beneficial in her roles as a social media manager. She is well-versed in monitoring multiple accounts and crafting timely content, while also being motivated to develop her abilities with fresh ideas.
In her free moments, Lisa likes to jam out to tunes, go skiing with her family, create homemade ice cream flavours, and sampling different kinds of wine.
